Privacy Policy

The short version
This site runs no analytics and no advertising pixels. It embeds YouTube and Mixcloud players, but only once you choose to load one. The only personal information collected is what you choose to type into the booking form, and it is used for one thing: replying to you.
What is collected
If you submit the booking form, the following is sent:
- Your name and email address
- Your event date, event type, venue or city, and set length, if you provide them
- The message you write
Nothing else is collected. There is no account to create and no newsletter sign-up on this site.
How it is used
Your enquiry is used to respond to you about your event and to arrange a booking if you go ahead. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, and it is not added to any marketing list without you asking for that.
How it is handled
By default, submitting the booking form opens your own email app with the message addressed to bookings@djcaises.com, and you choose whether to send it. If a form-handling service is connected instead, your submission is delivered by that third-party service on the way to the inbox it reaches, and that provider stores the submission in line with its own policy and security practices.
Cookie and embed consent
This site sets no cookies. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you are okay with YouTube and Mixcloud embeds loading once you press play. Your choice is remembered using your browser's local storage, not a cookie, so it stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can change it any time using the "Cookie choices" link in the footer.
Accessibility preferences
The accessibility widget's settings, larger text, high contrast, reduced motion and underline links, are also saved to your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. This information never leaves your device.
Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like nearly all web hosts, Cloudflare records standard technical request data, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and reliability. This is handled by Cloudflare under its own policy and is not used by DJ Caises for marketing or profiling.
Fonts and embedded media
Web fonts are served from this site's own domain, so no font request goes to a third party. YouTube and Mixcloud players on the Mixes and Live pages are not loaded until you accept embeds and actively press play. Nothing is requested from either platform before that. Once you do load a player, that platform's own privacy policy applies to it.
Links to other sites
This site links out to Mixcloud, YouTube, SoundCloud, Instagram, and TikTok. Once you follow one of those links you are on their platform, under their terms and their privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of the enquiry you sent, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Send that request to bookings@djcaises.com or through the booking form and it will be actioned.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and information is not knowingly collected from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
